Sparkly Skates Christmas Card

This might actually be my favourite card I’ve made from the Autumn/Winter catalogue this year. It did take a while to make the boots, mainly because my lacing skills are not great.

To make the boots I cut two outline boots from Silver Foil and two of detailed boots from the Sparkle Glimmer Paper. After removing all the inner bits from the Sparkle skates I cut the bottom skate blade off so I was left with just the boot.

To make the laces I coloured some of the Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine with the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends and left it to dry. If you have any red bakers twine in your stash you could use that, or any other colour.

I chose red laces for the boots as I used the snowflake paper from the Let It Snow Speciality DSP and I wanted to highlight the pops of red in the paper.

After lacing the boots I used the silicone craft matt and a sponge dauber to apply Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to the back of the sparkle die cut boot and adhered to the silver foil boots.

To finish the card I added a Real Red die cut bow to the top of the boots and a greeting stamped on a frame cut from the Frosted Bouquet dies.

Yummy Gingerbread House Christmas Card

Today’s card features the Yummy Christmas stamp set, this is one which is perfect for colouring fans out there. Another great thing about this set is it coordinates with the Cuckoo Clock dies from the Annual catalogue, so no fussy cutting if thats not your thing.

I love a good cutting and colouring session so I’ve enjoyed creating this little house and cute little trees.

I’ve added a layer of Sparkle Glimmer Paper across the bottom as snow, that and a greeting in the top corner and the cardis done.

Holly Jolly Santa Card

Who doesn’t love Santa on a Christmas card? I do anyway and what better one than this one from the Holly Jolly Christmas bundle. Such a lovable character which was a delight to colour.

Not the neatest colouring I’ll admit to but I still love him, next time he’ll be coloured beautifully!

A little background paper from the Wrapped in the Plaid makes a great background and the gold stripes in it are brought out with the stamped greeting in Golden Glitz Delicata ink.

A few gold stars from the Most Wonderful Time Medley finish the card off.

The Holly Jolly Christmas bundle is part of the Night Before Christmas Suite, a very versatile suite featuring all kinds of Christmas images including: trees, presents, cocoa, reindeers, candy canes, baubles and of course Santa himself!

Three Little Elves Card

How adorable are these cute little Elves, can you just imagine all the mischief they might get up to when we’re not watching. I wanted to go for a non traditional colour scheme so chose Seasside Spray, Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo to add to the cute factor.

Stampin’ Blends, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and a little fussy cutting have really brought the little eleves to life.  I didn’t think the card needed much else so added a simple stamped snowflake background and a strip of the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon highlights the sparkle in the glitter.

I can’t wait to make more card with this gorgeous #Elfie stamp set in many more colur combinations, so keep an eye out for more Elfie cards coming soon.
