For today’s card I wanted to do some colouring with the new Stampin’ Blends so pulled out the Color Me Happy stamp set which was also released last week. This stamp set has plenty of images to colour so is the perfect partner for the Blends.
It’s feels like ages since I made a card with any flowers on and as you know I love my flowers, so I pulled out the cute little flower stamp. Today Stampin’ Up! is launching a brand new product Stampin Blends, alcohol markers in twelve of our beloved Stampin’ Up! colours. Each of the twelve colours will be available in a light and dark shade and together as a colour duo. In additional to the twelve colours an Ivory and Bronze markers have been added to use as skin tones. Like other alcohol markers sets the Stampin Blends will also have a colourless blender to aid with shading and colour removal.
As a demonstrator I’ve been lucky enough to have these pens to play with for a month and I can honestly say I love them and I think they’re worth every penny. Above is an image I coloured the first day I received them and I’m no colouring expert but I love how this image turned out, look out for it featured in a card soon.
Here are links to all the colours currently available in the Stampin’ Up! Blends line, you can order individually, as a duo or as the full 27 marker set. The full set £108.00, the duos are £8.00 each and the individual markers are £4.00
Look out for plenty of examples using the new Stampin’ Blends over the next few weeks.
