Three Little Elves Card

How adorable are these cute little Elves, can you just imagine all the mischief they might get up to when we’re not watching. I wanted to go for a non traditional colour scheme so chose Seasside Spray, Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo to add to the cute factor.

Stampin’ Blends, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and a little fussy cutting have really brought the little eleves to life.  I didn’t think the card needed much else so added a simple stamped snowflake background and a strip of the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon highlights the sparkle in the glitter.

Flirty Flamingo Free as a Bird Card

Have you checked out the new Bird Balalrd suite yet? This is my favourite suite in the new catalogue so watch out for many gorgeous projects comimg up. My favourtie thing in the suite is the Bird Ballard DSP and particularly the sheet used in this project with the birds all over it, its beautiful. Here I’ve used to a small circle of the paper and its made a gorgeous card.

I used Flirty Flamingo for my card base as I thought it helped the flowers in the paper really pop out, even those this isn’t listed as one of the co-ordinating colours it still works wonderfully. I addded some detail with soem stamped flowers in Flirty Flamingo.

I cut the bird out with a circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies and then layered it on a Pearlized Doily with a circle of Petal Pink and a scalloped cicle of Pool Party both cut from the Layering Circles Dies.

I added the greeting “Hello” cut from the small tag die in the Merry Christmas Dies and added a linen thread bow to one side. To finishe the card off I added a few Pool Party sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment.

Forever Lovely Valentine’s Card Duo

I’m getting all loved up with the Forever Lovely stamp set today and sharing with you two Valentine’s cards which I’ve made.

I chose a colour scheme of Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick which are all colours from the coordinating All My Love DSP.

Firstly I took out my Big shot and cut out seven of the 3cm squares in whisper white and then seven scalloped squares in Lovely Lipstick. I stamped hearts in Flirty Flamingo on each white square and glued them to the scalloped squares.

For the first card I stamped a boarder of hearts down the left hand side of the card with Crumb Cake ink. I then added three of my squares at jaunty angles down the boarder and finished the card off with a greeting at the bottom.

For the second card I stamped the Crumb Cake hearts in opposite corners and then arranged four of the squares in a grid pattern in the centre of the card. I finished the card off with a sentiment running across the middle of the grid.

Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s two Valentine’s cards and pop back tomorrow to see what else I have created with the Forever Lovely stamp set.

Pootlers Team Blog Hop – Spring/Summer Catalogue

Today I’m taking part in the Pootler’s team blog hop showcasing our favourite products from the new Spring Summer catalogue. There’s a lot to love in this catalogue and it was hard to decide what to share with you today. I decided on my favourite bundle Butterfly Gala, which contains a great stamp set and the best butterfly fly punch I think Stampin’ Up! has come out with, with two gorgeous butterflies. I’ve paired this bundle with the new Crackle Paint background, which has brought back many happy memories of playing with crackle paint as a kid, so I’m glad we now have the same effect but much quicker.

The first card I made was in Highland Heather, a colour I haven’t used much but has created a lovely soft card.

For the next card I brightened it up by using Lovely Lipstick, this was my favourite card for highlighting how good the Crackle Paint background is.

For my final card I used Flirty Flamingo just so I could add some of the lovely new 1/8″ sheer Flirty Flamingo ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack, which I adds a lovely soft feeling to the card.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards today and I’d love it if you would visit some of my fellow teammates and see their wonderful creations with the new products. Simply click the blue button below and follow the links to each blog.

Enjoy and I’ll see you next time.

Congratulations Card with Little Elephant

Today I’ve managed to make a card with no tools and just one stamp set, I didn’t even use the matching punch with this set. There’s plenty of cute stamps in the Little Elephant stamp set to make any kind of card, today I’m making an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law.

I’ve added some of the Twinkle Twinkle DSP to the card as a background but the rest is all ink. I love Stampin’ Up! inks, they work beautifully every time and perfectly match the paper we carry so making a project like this takes literally minutes.

Hope they both like the card!
