Red Blossoms in Bloom Card

Today I’m sharing a simple card made with the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set. I’ve used a colour scheme of Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee. I stamped one of the small flowers on the Real Red cardstock base to give a tone on tone background on the card.

For the focus point on the card I stamped the large floral image on one of the second largest Stitched Rectangles.

I added extra layers using a Granny Apple Green Rectangle cut from the current Brights collection dsp and a Real Red layer cut from the Regals designer from the upcoming catalogue.

To finish off the card I added a greeting stamped on the smallest rectangle die.

Quick Card with The Gangs All Meer

Just a quick project today to highlight the cute little Meerkat family from The Gangs All Meer stamp set, I love their cheeky little faces.

I’ve gone with a colur scheme of Mango Melody, Pear Pizzazz and Granny Apple Green for my card base. I’ve used a piece of Pear Pizzazz as my background and stamped the little catus plants all over in Granny Apple Green just to give them more pop.

I added a strip of the Textured Weave Ribbon in Granny Apple Green across the top third of my card before adhering my Meerkat circle.

I coloured the Meerkat with Stampin’ Blends in Light Crumb Cake for their tummies and Light Soft Suede for the rest of their bodies. They are stood on a mix of Light Pumkin Pie and Light Mango Melody so it hopefully looks like sand.

This cute little stamp set is available until the end of March as a Sale-A-Bration freebie, so just place an order of £45 or more and you too could be stamping with these cuties.

Over the Moon – Cow’s It Going? Card

Growing up on a farm has meant I have a soft spot for cows so when I saw the new Over the Moon stamp set featuring these adorable little cows I knew they’s be one of the first sets I’d buy. I love how cute the images are and the sentimets just make me smile, especially the one I’ve used here, its perfect for when you just want to write a note to a friend.

I used Granny Apple Green as my main colour for this card and added a touch of Poppy Parade on the cows flower as I wanted a bright, happy spring like card, a total contrast to the wet miserable weather we’ve being having here in the UK recently.

For the background I used the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder, which you can see better in the first photograph. My cute little cow was coloured with Stampin’ Blends and then mounted on a scalloped oval in Granny Apple Green cut from the Layering Ovals dies.

I added a strip of the GrannyApple Green textured weave ribbon to add more colour but also because I’ve had it a while and never used it!

Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s fun little card using Over the Moon, amust if you like cute critters.

Water-coloured Flowers with Blended Seasons

Colouring is one of my favourite past-times while watching tv as I can’t just sit and watch I have to have my hands busy. Last night I was using the new Water Colour Assortment 2 pencils to colour these flowers from the Blended Seasons Stamp set.

I love how some simple colouring has turned into a beautiful card this morning. The colours used were just Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and the smallest amount of Crushed Curry, but the image looks like I used many more shades.

I was going to mount the image onto just a white card base but I think the added black layer gives the card a real “pop”. I stamped the greeting using Stazon on some vellum as I still wanted all of the  flowers to be seen.

A super simple card which looks beautiful, now I’m off to do some more colouring.
