Glitter Snowmen Card

What do you do when you want to make a card quickly? You use a punch and some paper and thats exactly what I did here.  The Let It Snow Speciality DSP has some wonderful festive patterns featuring snowmen, so of which can be punched out with the Snowman Builder Punch. Making cute snowmen in seconds and whats more some sheets of the Let It Snow DSP have glitter accents and so instant sparkle for your card.

I used the punch to create some twig arms for the snowmen, cut in black cardstock to match the background paper. I also added a couple of the felt hats from the Let It Snow Embellishment kit to add a little more cuteness.

I also added some of the Real Red Rouched 1″ Ribbon for some additonal interest and texture and finished off the card by adding a greeting from the Greatest Part of Christmas.

A quick card to put together but plenty of interest when you use many of the products in the Let It Snow Suite.

Christmastime Rose Card

This is the first card I made with the new Christmastime Is Here Suite of products.  How gorgeous is that rose and its cut from the designer paper with a die so this stunning card came together in minutes.

I love that with the die you can cut the paper or stamp the rose outline and then cut that out so all the beautiful detail is kept and not lost with a fussy cutting mishap.

I’ve added some extra detail to this card by using the corner dies to cut some goild foil. I think they look like corners of an ornate frame and I was tempted to added a gold foil matt under the green layer but though that might be too much.

I added a little greeting from Itty Bitty Christmas. I stampe dit in Golden Glitz Delicata ink and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. To fix it to the card I cut a little slit up near the pine cone so  it could slot it among the foiliage and not detract too much from the goregous rose image.

Merry Merlot Moose Christmas Card

I have to confess when I first saw the Merry Moose stamp set and punch in the catalogue I was like “What am I going to use that for” as being in the UK Moose are not typically an animal associated with Christmas. But you know what I’m completly converted, the gorgoeus sentiments and that super cute little racoon have won me over.

For this card  I used a piece of patterned paper from the Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″  Designer Paper which features Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler, I’ve paired it with a Merry Merlot card base as the Cherry is more Merlot on this pattern, at least for me it is.

The Moose is stamped in Soft Suede ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock and I couldn’t resist adding a little Merry Merlot scarf. I attached him onto a Stitched Circle cut from Very Vanilla cardstock which had been stamped with Mossy Meadow trees to create a background.

I stamped my greeting onto the narrowest of the Stiched Rectangle dies and positioned on my card so it looks as if the Moose is walking across it.

I love this card and am so pleased I’ve added the Merry Moose Bundle to my collection. I’d love to know which stamp set you’ve changed your mind over thuis catalogue.

Happy Halloween Card

I was going to share this ard tomorrow when it actually is Halloween but as we’re pumpkin carving as a family this evening I’m in the Hallloween mood today. Plus if you do send Halloween cards its a quick last minute project you can easily put together today.

The background was created using the two pumpkin stamps from the Gather Together stamp set, I used clear block I and stamped both stamps together in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I then coloured each pumpkin in with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Bledns markers.

I debated for a long time whether or not to draw faces on each of the pumpkins to make it more spooky looking but in the end decided against as my drawing skills are not great, but feel free to do so it you’re casing the card.

I added a strip of the Black Satin Ribbon to the centre of the card and then stamped my greeting on a panel cut from the Ornate Frames dies. I didn’t have a Halloween themed greeting which was curent so stamped my own using the Make A Difference stamp set and the Stamparatus.

I fnal touch was to add a few Pumpkin Pie Rhinestones from the Holiday collection, these are hidden away on page 58 of the Autmn/Winter catalogue and a great additonal to any holiday themed project.
