I wanted to share with you another card I’ve made with the Painted Seasons stamp set and matching framelits as this sets will no longer be available after Sunday as March 31st signals the end of this year’s Sale-A-Bration
I chose to use Gorgeous Grape as despite being a purple I haven’t really warmed to this colour yet, I think its because its more on the blue blue side of purple. It’s quite a bright colour when you see a full sheet of cardstock so I’ve toned it done by adding a vellum layer. The fancy edge at the bottom is cut using the Delicate Lace Egelits Dies which I think really adds a wow to this card.
The greeting comes from the More Than Word stamp set which has sentiments to co-ordinate with many of our Sale-A-Bration sets, this will also be gone after Sunday ao grab it while you can as it has a lovely mix of fonts. I stamped the greeting on a frame from the Stitched Label Framelits as I thought the edge work well with the lacy die.
To finish the card I added some leaves and one of those gorgeous flowers from the Painted Leaves stamp set, every time I stamp this flower I’m amazed by how much detail there is in just one stamp, its stunning!!
Today I’m hopping again with my fellow team mates the Pootler’s and this time we’re featuring projects made using products from the new Sale-A-Bration Brochure. These are exclusive products which are only available free with a purchase of £45 or above until the end of March.
On my card today I’m featuring three of my favourite products from the brochure, the So Hoppy Together stamp set, the Lovely Lipstick Foil card and the Botanical Butterfly DSP which compliments the Gingham Gala Suite in the Spring/Summer catalogue.
So here’s my card, how cute is that little frog? I knew as soon as I saw this set he would be perfect for a Valentine’s card and if you wanted to make him a her just add some eyelashes with a Stampin’ Marker.
Here’s a close up of the frog coloured in Call Me Clover, Granny Apple Green and Pineapple Pucker Stampin’ Blends. The hearts he’s sitting on came from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits which is part of the All My Love Suite. I added some adhesive sheets to some of the Lipstick Foil and some Whisper White card stock and ran them both through the Big Shot with the die. I used the Foil piece as my outline and then once stuck to my card used the hearts form the Whisper White piece to fill the gaps, with the help of the Take Your Pick tool of course!
I’m hoping I can stock up on the Botanical Butterfly DSP before it sells out because I just adore that black gingham paper and want loads of it.
If you’ve enjoyed today’s project I’d love it if you could visit the rest of my team mates on the blog hop. Just click the blue button below to see a full list to follow.

As the new Autumn/Winter catalogue has been live for a week now I thought I’d share with you my favourite products, some of which you’ve already seen and the rest you will see in the next couple of weeks.
- Buffalo Check background stamp
If you saw yesterday’s post you’ll know I adore this stamp and can see it been used many, many times over the coming months. This is the one stamp I’m really praying carries over to next years annual catalogue as I think its a crafting must have.
2. Dashing Deer Bundle
This gorgeous stamp and die set stood out in the catalogue from my first look and now I’ve had a play I know it’s definitely a keeper in my collection. If you were a fan of the Dasher stamp from a few years ago I’m sure you’ll love this updated version. I used this bundle in my team blog hop at the weekend, take a look here.
3. Joyous Noel Speciality DSP
For me this is the perfect paper for Christmas its rich and luxurious with Copper Foiling on half of the sheets and beautiful but simple Christmas patterns on the other side. I love it and can see myself buying many more packs of his paper. I used it as a background for these cards.
4. Sprig Punch
Many regular readers know I’m more of a Big shot girl than a punch girl but this little Sprig Punch is one that I had to add to my collection as its the perfect accent for any floral arrangement, like I used here. And does it remind you of reindeer antlers? It does me.
5. Black Foil Cardstock
This is part of the Toil & Trouble Suite of products but I can see this being used for more than just Halloween projects. Luxury birthday cards are what I’m planning to use this for. Although I love the idea of black foiled spiders webs.
6. Shimmer Paints
We had these in the catalogue a few years ago and I loved them, I was gutted when they retired so I’m over joyed that they’re back. My favourite’s are the Frost White and the Champagne Mist, but I’ll be adding the other two to my collection before this catalogue is over.
7. Frosted Floral Speciality Designer Series Paper
If you know me you know I love my florals so no list of favourites could be complete with featuring this paper pack. It’s truly beautiful each sheet is printed on shimmery paper meaning both sides have the gorgeous frosted effect to them. This really is a paper for all year round and if you’re a floral fan like me I think you’ll adore it.
8. Corrugated Dynamic Impressions Folder
If you like a bit of texture on your projects then this is the tool for you. Beautiful corrugated cardstock in any colour you like with just one run through the Big shot, this is another product I hope carries over.
9. Take -You-Pick Tool
This thing is genius, everyone should have one in their crafting arsenal. I’ve struggled with the Mini Glue Dots for years, I can’t even use the with the Paper Piercing Tool but with the Take-Your-Pick Tools flat mini spatula end I’m in Mini Glue dot heaven. I also love the putty end for picking up sequins which we all know can be a real pain!
10. Santa’s Workshop Suite
This is a bit of a cheat one as its not just one product its a whole suite of products but its products which are going to be the centre of my Christmas crafting this year that’s for sure. I love that not only do the dies in this set match the stamps they also match the paper, making quick and super cute cards really easy. It’s also the perfect stamp set for curling up with your Blends and indulging in some relaxing colouring. Every item in this suite has been beautifully thought out and I love Stampin’ Up! for that.
