Lovely Lily Pad Birthday Card

Todays card features three products which are part of our Sale-A-Bration collection for 2020. The stamp set and paper pack are options which are available with a £50.00 order and the dies set is free with a purchase of £90 or more.

The Lily Impressions paper is stunning, it has so many of my favourite colours in it and I love its inspired by the painting by Claude Monet. This quick card highlights the paper and if you don’t like the pattern I’ve chosen, most of the other designs in the pack work just as well.

Lovley Lily Pad Birthday card - flat

The white die cut comes from the Wild Rose die set and the greeting comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set is part of our new Reversibiles range, this means you can use both sides of the stamp for stamping. This doubles the creativity and is great for floral images which I love.

I stamped the solid parts of the lily’s first using the flat/ back sides of the stamps and by stamping one layer of Melon Mambo ink on scrap paper first. I then stamped over with the outline, they don’t quite line up due to the uneven flower but give a lovley artisitc effect which I think adds to the floral feel of the stamping. I did the same with the laeves using Granny Apple Green.

After die cutting I assembled the card and added a final outline die cut layer to the Lily flower to add extra dimension.

Hey Lady! Thank You Card

The Little Ladybug stamp set has to be my favourite from both the Mini Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration releases. This  stamp set features four of the cutest little ladybirds I think I’ve ever seen along with some lovely greetings. This is a special stamp set as its only available with orders over £275 and until the end of March, so if you like it nows the time to go shopping and pick up those wishlist items.

I started out by stamping and colouring some ladybirds and flowers. the ladybird is coloured with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and the flower a mix of Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Granny Appple Green.

Hey Lady Thank You Card Flat

I created the frame with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and the Poppy Parade Cardstock and Pleased AS Punch DSP. The card base is Balmy Blue and I stamped the large flower across the background in Balmy Blue to add more interest.

For my greetings I used the Special Day Dies to create speach bubbles so it looks as if the Ladybug is talking.

Under My Umbrella featuring the Pleased as Punch DSP

If you’re living in the UK like me then you are probably sick of all the rain we’ve being having, especially after the last few days. If you’ve been affected by the floods then my heart goes out to you, nothing could be worse than losing your home.

These two cards featuring the Under My Umbrella stamp set I hope will bring a little cheer to some of you. I think this is a great set mostly because I love all the sentiments, they’re perfect for sharing a little love which you can never have too much of. I also love that this set comes with a matching punch and now for a limited time some matching designer paper, meaning card making is quick and simple.

Uder My umbrella PaP DSp Card 1

This first card features the raindrop pattern from the new Pleased as Punch designer paer, this is my favourtie, how cute are those raindrops? Thats rain I can enjoy. I’ve paired this paper up with Gorgeous Grape, using some ink, a punched out umbrella top and some of the Mini Striped Ribbon. I’ve used three quarters of the second largest Stitched Nested Labels Dies to stamp my sentiment on and to act as a focal point.

Under My Umbrella Pap DSP card 2

For the second card I chose a colour scheme of Coastal Cabana and Petal Pink. This is a very similar design to the first card but instead of adding ribbon I’ve added some flowers stamped and coloured in Stampin’ Blends.

Two quick cards made with the Under My Umbrella bundle and Pleased as Punch DSP and there are many more combinations you could explore with these products.

Simple Stamping: Power of Hope

As soon as I saw images in the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Power of Hope I was reminded of my childhood and her Willow Tree China. I was a very fussy eater and would only eat cheese sandwiches shaped as giraffes off the special blue plates at her house, bless her she made them for me every visit! So this one’s for you Grandma, thank you for indulging my childhood whims.

This is a very simple card using just Whisper White Thick cardstock as a base and Night of Navy cardstock and ink to create the image.

Simple Stamping - Power of Hope flat

I used a Blender Pen to pull some of the ink off the outline of the chinese lady to give her dress a very slight blue colouring. The little bush in the corner was created with the top of the tree image. I stamped it once and it turned out not so good, so I just overstamped with the leftover ink on my stamp a few times to fill it in and I actually like how this turned out.

Are there any stamp sets which bring back happy childhood memories for you? I’d love to know all about them.

Petal Pink Lasting Love Card

Today I’m sharing the love with this card made from the Last A Lifetime Bundle. This is a bundle themed around love and weddings and features some gorgeous dies. Today I’ve chosen to focus on the floral images in the stamp set and their matching dies.

For my card background I chose a sheet of petel pink designer paper which has Champagne foiling on from the Parisian Blossoms collection, I love this design for backgrounds.

Petal Pink Lasting Love Card - flat

I stamped my greeting onto the second largest die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. To add some more of the champagne colour to my project I used the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and stamped the edges of my nested Label with the large floral die from the stamp set, this adds a nice subtle shimmer to the greeting panal and ties it togther with the background.

To finish the card I added two of the large stamped floral springs which have been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured with Petal Pink and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. As a finishing touch I added coloured the berries on the floral springs with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint using a Blender Pen to apply the paint to my project.

This card would make a lovely wedding or anniversary card or just to let someone know you love them whatever time of year.
