Parisian Blossoms Paper Strip Card

Today I’m using the Parisian Blossoms Speciality Designer Paper to create a card with a paper stip background. This techinque is a great way to use all those little scraps of paper which you have left at the end of a paper pack. For this card my strips measured 1.5cm x 8.5cm. Iused seven strips for this card and mounted them on a background of Champagne Foil measuring 9cm x 12cm.

For the greeting I used the retiring Label Me Pretty stamp set and matching Pretty Label punch and I embellished the card with some Petal Pink Metallic Edged Ribbon and a couple of Champagne Rhinestones, which I’m pleased to say are carrying over to the new catalogue.

Petal Pink Lasting Love Card

Today I’m sharing the love with this card made from the Last A Lifetime Bundle. This is a bundle themed around love and weddings and features some gorgeous dies. Today I’ve chosen to focus on the floral images in the stamp set and their matching dies.

For my card background I chose a sheet of petel pink designer paper which has Champagne foiling on from the Parisian Blossoms collection, I love this design for backgrounds.

I stamped my greeting onto the second largest die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. To add some more of the champagne colour to my project I used the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and stamped the edges of my nested Label with the large floral die from the stamp set, this adds a nice subtle shimmer to the greeting panal and ties it togther with the background.

To finish the card I added two of the large stamped floral springs which have been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured with Petal Pink and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. As a finishing touch I added coloured the berries on the floral springs with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint using a Blender Pen to apply the paint to my project.

This card would make a lovely wedding or anniversary card or just to let someone know you love them whatever time of year.

Wedding Card with Parisians Blooms

Happy Belated New Year everyone, sorry I’ve been away longer than I was expecting but I needed a complete crafting break. I’m back now and raring to show some projects I’ve been working on over the pass few days using some of the gorgeous new products from out new January/June Mini Catalogue and also Sale-A-Bration which is already well under way.

For today’s project I’m sharing a card I made for my cousins wedding at the beginning of this year. I chose to base the card around the papers in the Parisians Blossoms Specialty Designer Paoer because its stunning and I thought the champagne foil accents on the flowers would work well for the wedding theme.

The greeting comes from the Last A Lifetime stamp set and was stamped in Petal Pink on a matt die cut from the Printed Labels Dies. I added some of the Petal Pink Metallic Edged Ribbon across the top third of the card before adhering my greeting. I then added three fussy cut flowers onto the card and added a Champagne Rhinestone to their centres to finish the card off.
