September Customer Thank You Cards using Paisleys & Petals

Today’s card is one some of you may be receiving in the post today, its my September thank you card, which has been sent to everyone who shopped with me this month to say thank you for choosing me as your Demonstrator.

I chose to use the Paisleys & Posies stamp set which is fast becoming one of my favourites and one which I’m hoping makes it to next years catalogue. Its such a versatile set and with the matching Framelits set you could play for hours.

I made the three medallions by stamping three each of the shapes in Rich Razzleberry, Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaron. I then die cut these with the matching Framelits and also die cut three small circles in the copper foil which I also adore!

Here is a close up of the medallions:

I made the card base out of Mint Macaron and used some of the Rich Razzleberry patterned paper from the Petals & Paisleys speciality dsp matted on some copper foil as a base for the medallions.

The greeting comes from the same stamp set and is stamped in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White and then cut it into a banner using my scissors.

Want to receive one of my thank you cards next month, then simply place an order of any amount with me and I’ll send you one as a thank you.

Pootles Design Team My Hero – Week 4

14088395_10153745365531603_281310922678395855_n

This week I have been surrounded by poorly children who have now passed their delightful germs onto me, so the obvious choice for this week was a get well card.

I also don’t think we could focus on this set and not make some get well cards as this is the Ronald MacDonald House Charities set which raises money to help families with sick children who are receiving treatment far from home., so this is definitely a set you should consider as £2.00 from every sale goes to the charity.

I went for a super simple card this week with a couple of layers and just a little stamping. Here is the card

I chose a colour scheme of Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party and Smokey Slate and I love how well they work together. The only dimension on the card is the top of the umbrella as I wanted to make it easy for posting.

Thank you for popping by, if you would like to check out what the rest of the design team make take a look on www.pootles.com for the links.

Thoughtful Branches – Day 1

By now you’ve probably all seen the Thoughtful Branches Promotion that Stampin’ Up! is running throughout August. Pick up this limited time stamp set on its own or in a bundle with the matching Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies, but hurry as this stamp is only available till the end of the month or until stocks last.

sugarplumhydranga.jpg

As you can see my first card with this bundle uses the stamps and dies to create a purple hydrangea flower, variants of which can be see all over the internet.  I love the Blooms & Bliss designer paper so decided to use that as inspiration. I used Sweet Sugarplum and stamped the flower image multiple times just moving slightly to create a mottled background for the flower, similar to that on the paper. I then over-stamped in Rich Razzleberry for definition. The leaves and stem were die cut from Mint Macaron and the greeting is stamped in Rich Razzleberry also. A little sponging around the edges and a few of the tiny pearls finishes the card off.

Comeback tomorrow for more inspiration with this bundle.
