Dandelion Wishes Watercolour Card

This card is a mix up of many techniques, I’m not 100% sure I like the end result but I had fun playing and thats whats most important.  For my main image I stamped one of the dandelions from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set in Versamark and embossed with Silver Stampin Emboss Powder, the image sunk a little into my card which was the Fluid 100 watercolour card, so maybe I need to this with the Shimmery White cardstock instead. I then created a Highland Heather wash with diluted reinker and washed this over the image, I do like how this turned out.

For the background I ran some Highland Heather cardstock through the Old World Paper Embossing Folder. I added a greeting on a label created from the Ornate frames dies and to finish the card a ruffled a length of ribbon from the Playing with Patterns combo pack.

Floral Friday – Paper Scrap Cards

Today I’m sharing four cards which have all been made from one sheet of 6 x 6 designer paper. I used the retiring Best Dressed paper as I love the floral patterns and I chose four colours from this paper as my card bases.

Floral Scraps - Petal Pink

These were Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Petal Pink.

Floral Scraps Card - Daffodil Delight

I used the Dandelion Wishes stamp set for the sentiments, stamped on a circle from the Layering Circles Dies.

I just cut the 6 x 6 paper into various strips and arranged them with the sentiments on top.

I think the Blackberry Bliss version is my favourite, which is yours ?
