Congrats Wreath made from Blended Seasons Bundle

For today’s project I pulled out the Stitched seasons Framelits and had a play cutting out the various shapes. To make the wreath I cut out eight of the leaves in Mint Macaron and five of the small flowers in Blushing Bride. I cut the leaves off the flower dies as I didn’t want pink leaves, not really sure why the flower isn’t a separate die.

To create the background I took some Blushing bride cardstock and stamped the leaves stamp randomly all over in Blushing Bride to give a tone-on-tone look which wasn’t going to detract attention away from my wreath.

To make the wreath a cut a whisper white circle from the 6cm diameter Layering Circles dies and glued onto my card. I cut the berries section off all my leaves and then positioned them all round the circle, overlapping in some areas.

I then added the Congrats banner which was stamped  from the Banner for You stamp set and cut from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. I fixed the banner on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added the flowers around the wreath, tucking a couple under the banner. I added some Rhinestones to the flower centres as a final touch.

You’re Inspiring Daffodil Card

Today’s card is much more suited to a spring day and not the middle of summer but I thought I’d share anyway. I coloured the daffodil image in ages ago, probably in the spring and I thought it was time it made its way onto a card. When I saw the new 6×6″ Designer Series Paper Stacks in the new colour collections I knew I had the perfect background.

I’ve left this card with no greeting as nothing seemed to fit how I wanted it too and to be honest sometimes its nice to have some blank cards ready to just send a quick not to someone.

Hope you like my simple project today.

Floral Friday: Pastel Bouquet with Beautiful Bouquet

Today I’m sharing a card I made a while a go which has now been used as a wedding card for some friends. I wanted to create a card which was versatile for any occasion and in my book if flowers are involved you can’t really go wrong.

I love playing with this stamp set and matching dies as its so quick and easy to make a ton of flowers and build up a bouquet, especially if you use the multi-purpose adhesive sheets.

This bouquet was made up from flowers which were Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight with hints of Crumb Cake and a Soft Seafoam background. a combination which I think is love and actually did match the brides colour scheme.

Holly Berry Background Card with Blended Seasons

Today I’m sharing another Christmas card made with the Blended Seasons Bundle of products. This time I used the holly stamp to create a back ground for my card and then I coloured it with Poppy Parade and Garden Green Stampin’ markers.

The gold embossed sentiment comes from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set, which again I have added to my card using the gorgeous stitched frames from the Stitched Seasons die set. I will really miss these next month when they’re no longer available, so if you’re thinking about making purchase I would hurry before they sell out.

I added the bow die cut and a strip of Poppy Parade cardstock to make the card look like it was a Christmas present.

A little holly and a sentiment finish off the inside. Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project.

Bicycle Birthday Card with Enjoy Life and Best Route DSP

Being from a town which  is cycling mad I knew I had to get the Enjoy Life stamp set with the bicycle image. Pairing that with the Best Route DSP and I’ve created a birthday which I think would be suitable for any male cycle enthusiast.

I think the Happy Birthday sentiment from Perennial Birthday is the perfect match for this card as its not too feminine. I also added a little decoration to the inside of this card so I could use another sentiment from the set.

Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project, hopefully I’ll come up with more ideas for male birthday cards soon.
