Birthday Pefection Card

The Approaching Perfection stamp set is another of our freebies for this Sale-A-Bration and it could be one you’ve overlooked as its on the same page as the gorgeous Oh So Ombre paper pack.

If you like quirky sentiments then this is the set for you. I tend to stick to the more traditional sentiments like I have with this card but I do like all of these.

I used Stampin’ Markers in Petal Pink, Real Red and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Markers to colour the stamp, to match this pattern from the Snail Mail DSP collection.

This birthday card is suitable for anyone so perfect to make when you need a super quick card.

Hey Girlfriend Ombre Card Duo

I love the sassy girl images in the Hey Girlfriend stamp set, I think will make great cards for girls of any age to recieve. I know my seven year old has loved stamping with these more than me so far.

Today I’ve kept the cards fairly simple by just colouring with Stampin’ Blends and adding so of the Oh So Ombre 6 x 6 dsp pack as a background. This paper pack is availbale during Sale-A-Bration and is proving very popular.

I’ve used the largest scalloped square frame from the Stitched So Sweetly die set on this first card. I also had to add in the little dog as it reminds me of the one from Bella & Friends a couple of years ago, so cute!

For this card I stamped the sentiment using the Many Messages stamp and die set. This combo is great because with one stamp you get 19 messages and then simply place the die over and they all cut out in one go, so a great addition if you need a lot of sentiments quickly.

Quick Bow Tie Card

Here is a quick card to make for those men in your life using the Handsomely Suited stamp set. Simply stamp, colour and cut.

I’ve used a skinny card base for this card measuring 14cm x 21cm, scored at 7cm, which fits the bow ties perfectly.

I’ve used Misty Moonlight, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and just Jade Stampin’ Blends but you could use whatever colour combination you like.

If the man in your life is more of a tie man then simply use the tie stamps instead.

Hey Birthday Chick Co-ordinating Products Release

Today see the launch of three new Stampin’ Up! products which coordinate with the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set from the Jan – June Mini Catalogue. I say three new products, but one is actually a re-release from the 2017 Sale-A-Bration the Hey Chick stamp set.

I loved this stamp set back in 2017 and still have the set in my collection so I’m thrilled Stampin’ Up! have brought it back for a couple of months to partner with the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. But the best news is both sets now have matching die sets to go with them. I can’t wait for mine to arrive as I love these stamped images but fussy cutting them is tricky and now with dies it will be quick and easy, something we all love in papercrafting!

The Hey Chick and related products will be availbale until June 30th 2021, here are links to all the Hey Chick related products:

Here are some samples made by the Stampin’ Up! team:

Valentine’s Duo with Kangeroo and Company

I can’t believe its February already, where on earth did January go? February means one thing to me and thats Valentine’s Day, so today I’m sharing a couple of cards made with Kangeroo & Company.

I love this cuteness of this set, in fact there are many cute sets in the new Mini January to June 2021 Catalogue which is great me my creativley, not so great for my wallet. Along with Kangeroo & Company look out for Springtime Joy, Shark Frenzy, Oh Snap, Hey Birthday Chick and Snailed It!

This card was quick to make as it comes with matching dies so the Kangeroo and the bunch of love hearts can be cut out easily with no fussy cutting. So a little Blends colouring and you have your card. The background paper is from the Snail Mail collection which is the perfect cute companion. The heart was die cut from the Stitched Be Mine die set and the greeting is from the coordinating Meant to Be stamp set.

For this second card I created the background by repeated stamping the little envelope stamp. You could use the Stamparatus to do this but as the stamps photopolymer I just did it freehand. I then coloured each little heart in Real REd Stampin’ Blends.

I matted my Kangeroo on a larger Petal Pink heart from the Stitched Be Mine collection as my background was a little busy. I then added another stamped and die cut letter to the card in the Kangeroo’s pouch, this has a die cut slit in it making it easy to pop things in.

I love both of these cards and haven’t decided yet which one I’m sending to my husband, he’d probably prefer just chocolate!
