For today’s project I have another card using the Painted Harvest stamp set, I was inspired by looking at Poinsettia’s and was originally going to make a Christmas card, however when I added the Pear Pizzazz card base I felt it would be better as a birthday card.
How amazing do those flowers look? They are stamped in Real Red for both layers and no stamping off to lighten for the first layer, the stamp does it by magic. The more I use this set the more I love it, these flowers are just gorgeous, fingers crossed this one makes it to the big catalogue.
The flowers were stamped in Crushed Curry to give the flowers their Poinsettia vibe. The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz, I think if I wanted to go more Christmassy I would have used Garden Green or even Always Artichoke.
I did have to fussy cut one flower but love that we have the matching leaf punch making multiple leaves easy to make.
