Daffodil Tulips Card

Daffodil coloured Tulips, well why not! I don’t use yellow that much as I’m more of a pink/purple girl so today I used Daffodil Delight as my starting point and paired it with Granny Apple Green.

I’m loving seeing the daffodils in my garden but as we dont currently have any daffodil images I’m using Timeless Tulips.

I’ve simply stamped the tulip heads in Daffodil Delight, filling in the gaps with second generation stamping and then added some leaves and stems in Granny Apple Green. I’ve then added some punched out Tulips to add a little dimension.

I’ve added a length of Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon across the card to add my greeting label, I’m sad this ribbon is leaving us as its been one of my favourites ffrom this catalogue.

A simple card but think its sure to brighten someones day.

Floral Friday: Timeless Tulips Card Duo

For today’s Floral Friday post I’m highlighting the Timeless Tulips stamp set. Tulips are one of my favourite flowers but I actually don’t like red ones. So today’s cards are featuring red tulips in Poppy Parade.

I’ve paired my red tulips with the Stitched Nested Dies and the Forever Greenery Designer Paper.

Timeless Tulips 1

This first card is just simple stamping on the largest Stitched Nested Label with just the centre tulip popped up on some dimensionals. I’ve left sentimetns off this card so it can be used for any occassion.

Timeless Tulips 2

For the second card I added in the one of the new Greenery Mini Embossing Folders to add some texture to the background.

I like these cards but I’m still not a fan of red tulips.
