Kite Delight, Simple to Stepped Up

For my Simple to Stepped Up project this week I’m using the Kite Delight stamp set and the new Cloud Punch.

For my Simple card I’ve just stamped onto Basic white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

For the second step I’ve added in some Pool Party clouds and then stamped the kites onto some of the Simply Marbleous Designer Paper, cut them out and adhered over the top of the clouds. I’ve also added a Pool Party matt behind the stamped to add some colour.

For my Stepped Up version I added in punched clouds from the Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Paper and used some black baker’s twine for the tail of the kite along with cut out bows.

Which is your favourite version? I like the middle version myself simple and stylish.

Three Card Thursday: Rainbow of Happiness

Today I’m sharing three cards made using the Rainbow of Happiness bundle and the Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Paper, which is currently free with a £45/€60 order.

Theses products are full of bright bold patterns and fun sentiments which can’t help but make you smile.

For this first card I cut one of the rainbows out from the paper as a focal point and used a strip of the rainbow paper as a base. I also die cut nine clouds from Shimmery white cardstock. Before I adhered everything to my card I did some stamping. I stamped the tiny lines stamp all over in Pool Party to give a tone on tone effect. I then stamped my greeting before adhering everything to the card.

This card has used the dies to create a rainbow from the designer paper. I adhered the whole 6 x 6 sheet to multipurpose adhesive sheets before cutting so they are easy to stick to any card. As the stamp for the sentiment is photopolymer I was able to manipulate it to form a curve around the rainbow.

This third card uses up my remaining piece from the designer paper but you could swap for any of the other patterns.
