Razzleberry Flowers Birthday Card using the Stampin’ Blends

For today’s card I wanted to do some colouring with the new Stampin’ Blends so pulled out the Color Me Happy stamp set which was also released last week. This stamp set has plenty of images to colour so is the perfect partner for the Blends.

It’s feels like ages since I made a card with any flowers on and as you know I love my flowers, so I pulled out the cute little flower stamp. I took a piece of Whisper White Thick cardstock measuring 9.5cm x 13.3cm and randomly stamped the flower all over.

Next I coloured in the flowers first using the Dark Rich Razzleberry to fill in the outline and a few shadows as shown on the stamp. To complete the flowers I coloured the remaining areas in the Light Rich Razzleberry. For the background I used the Light Pool Party, outlining the flowers first and then filling in all the gaps.

I then cut the coloured panel into three strips measuring 4.4cm, 4.5cm and 4.4cm and mounted these onto a layer of Rich Razzleberry measuring 10cm x 14cm as shown in the phot above.

To complete the card I stamped the Happiest of Birthdays greeting from the Birthday blooms stamp set in Rich Razzleberry and cut it out using the second largest oval from the Stitched Shape Framelits. I then cut the corresponding scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card and a little look a the new Color Me Happy stamp set.

Happy Crafting
