Pop of Petals Floral Trio Birthday Card

Can you believe I’ve had the Pop of Petals stamp set and matching Four-Petal Flower Punch and they’ve not been used, shocking right? So today’s the day I inked it up and created the simple but stunning birthday card.

Three stamped and punched flowers in Berry Burst and a little foliage stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and you have the main part of the card.

Next simply add your chosen greeting to the centre of the stamping, my sentiment came from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, then you have an almost complete card.

To finish the card I added a large Gold Facet Gem to the centre of each flower, aren’t they just the perfect fit?

Congratulations Card with Born to be Loved

Today’s card is showcasing three products which are retiring, two of which are low in stock so if you want them don’t wait. These products are the Born to be Loved stamp set, the Bundle of Joy Speciality DSP and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits which I’m surprised are retiring as I consider them a crafting staple.

Anyway here’s the card I came up, a very simple design which highlights these beautiful products.

I love the mix and Gold and Very Vanilla and think this card could work for many occasions including Weddings, Anniversaries, Engagements and new baby cards.

The heart stamp in the catalogue had the sentiment “Born to be Loved” on it which I didn’t want to use so I simply covered it up with some short strips of washi tape. I then inked the whole image with Versamark ink and then removed the washi carefully before stamping, leaving just the gorgeous border to be embossed.

I also embossed the “Congratulations” in gold to match the rest of the colour scheme, this greeting came from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set, which I’m so pleased is staying around for the next catalogue as its one of my favourites.

Tidings of Joy card with the Christmas Pines Stamp Set

Last Christmas the Christmas Pines stamp set and matching die set was one of my favourite things from the Autumn/Winter catalogue and I was so happy it made it into our annual catalogue as its such a great set. Today I’ve pulled it out and made a very traditional looking card with a Real Red and Emerald envy colour scheme.

Be Merry Mistletoe Duo

Today I’ve got two cards for the price of one with the duo made from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set and the Be Merry DSP. These products can both be found in the annual catalogue on page 113. Initially I overlooked Merry mistletoe but when it was in the sale last week I ordered myself a set and its growing on me. I love the Be Merry DSP mainly because I’m a real sucker for Cherry Cobbler, for me its the perfect Christmas red, but I  also love how half of these papers contain generic patterns which can be used all year round. My favourite sheet though is still the cute little reindeer paper which I’ve used both sides of in todays projects.

What more do you need than some gold embossing powder and gold foil to make a beautiful card. I love the simplicity of this card and think it perfectly highlights the lovely reindeer stamp.

The other side of the reindeer paper is this garden green hounds tooth pattern, which is a little full on when you look at a whole sheet but works well with small amounts here. I’ve added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the mistletoe berries to add a little sparkle, just wish my photography skills were better so you could see how lovely it looks.

Here are both cards together, which is your favourite. Despite loving the reindeer paper I think the mistletoe one is my favourite, I just love the glitter.

Gold Graceful Garden

Happy World Card Making Day! Hope you’re all enjoying a little crafting today. For today’s card I chose to feature Graceful Garden, which has 15% off until Monday. As you know I love my floral sets and I particularly adore the rose images in this set, as soon as I get more watercolour paper I’m going to be colouring that gorgeous big rose. Today I chose to focus on the small rose image and use it more of an accent for the card.

The combination of Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Gold give this card a very luxurious feel and make it perfect to give as an anniversary card or birthday card for that special someone.

I’ve added the Gold Metallic edged ribbon behind my circle to soften the card and add a little bit of texture.

Inside I’ve repeated the same rose image on the bottom right corner. I really love how this card turned out and think its my favourite so far from this week.

Join me tomorrow for another project using the 15% stamp sets.
