So Very Much meets…Sealed With Love

For today’s project I wanted to make some really quick cards that had nothing to do with the love theme but still used the Sealed With Love stamp set. I chose to use the paint stripe stamp to make a background. Continue reading “So Very Much meets…Sealed With Love”

Nordic Inspired Stitched With Cheer Card

I love the way the “Nordic” theme creeps into clothes and home décor at Christmas and the Stitched With Cheer set is perfect for creating your own Nordic inspired cards and crafts for Christmas. This card features a simple colour scheme of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb which I just love.

My Christmas tree line didn’t go quite to plan so I added the greetings panel to cover up a splodge, oops! I think its turned out okay though and can’t wait to pull this one out to play  again soon…hopefully before it sells out.

Here is a close-up of the greetings panel. I  love adding the little pearls to cards as a finishing accent. The cherry cobbler layer of the banner was just a die-cut which I cut in half to lengthen the banner  and also to make the greeting stand out more against the background.

Modern Snowflake Cards

twosnowflakeflurries.jpg

I love snowflake images of any kind and have really enjoyed playing with the Flurry of Wishes stamp set to create some cards which have a more modern feel about them.

For these cards I chose two colours schemes, the first Island Indigo and Pool Party which I think is my favourite blue combination. The second I went for a more girly feel with Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry.

I finished each card off with some of the gorgeous Fancy Frost sequins which have the most delicious shine…I wish I had packets and packets of them to sprinkle over my table at Christmas.

I love them both and can’t decide which is my favourite, which is yours?
