Holly Berry Background Card with Blended Seasons

Today I’m sharing another Christmas card made with the Blended Seasons Bundle of products. This time I used the holly stamp to create a back ground for my card and then I coloured it with Poppy Parade and Garden Green Stampin’ markers.

The gold embossed sentiment comes from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set, which again I have added to my card using the gorgeous stitched frames from the Stitched Seasons die set. I will really miss these next month when they’re no longer available, so if you’re thinking about making purchase I would hurry before they sell out.

I added the bow die cut and a strip of Poppy Parade cardstock to make the card look like it was a Christmas present.

A little holly and a sentiment finish off the inside. Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project.

Shimmery Coastal Cabana Floral Card with Blended Seasons Bundle

Today I’m sharing another card made with the gorgeous floral stamp from the Blended Seasons stamp set. This time I went for a colour combination of Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Woodgrain.

Firstly I stamped the floral image twice on shimmery white cardstock in Stazon and water coloured with the Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green pencils from the new Water Colour assortment 2. My Coastal Cabana pencil doesn’t seem to blend out as well as the rest of the pack so getting the flowers how I wanted took quite a few layers. To add more shimmer to the project I added some Wink of Stella all over the flowers, this looks stunning in real life but has not come out well on the photos at all.

I fussy cut the flowers and then separated them to create smaller arrangements around my sentiment. I added a few pearls to the centres of the flowers as to me the don’t look complete without, going to challenge myself not to use them on my next floral card!

The Wood Textures DSP gives the perfect background to highlight all the shimmer on the flowers.

Wedding Card with the Stitched All Around Bundle

I don’t know about you but this time of year I seem to be at a wedding every other weekend, so my stash of wedding cards is rapidly depleting. The dies and stamps in the Stitched All Around bundle provide the perfect base for creating some lovely wedding cards.

For this simple card I created a background by running a layer of Powder Pink cardstock through the bigshot in the Tufted 3D Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder which adds that luxury quilted effect to the card which I think is just begging for pearls to be in the centres of each “tuft”. A little Flirty Flamingo round the edges adds a little more depth to the card.

Add a sentiment to that gorgeous swirly edged die and finish with some of the darling stitched hearts in Flirty Flamingo for a gorgeous wedding card I’m sure any couple will love.

Copper Leaves Thank You Card with Blended Seasons Bundle

For today’s project I was aiming for a simple one layer card, but I got a bit carried away with the ink blending and made a bit of a mess. So I’ve added a copper layer behind my blending and mounted on a new card blank.

I love the addition of Mango Melody to our colour palette as I think it is the perfect middle colour between Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. All three have blended together to create the background and I love how rich and autumnal this card looks.

Some Copper embossing of the leaves stamp and some die cut Copper Foil leaves finish the card off. This was a very quick card to make but I think its turned out really well. I think the corn stamp would work equally well.

Best Bunny Birthday Cards

Today I’m sharing two cards I’ve made using the Best Bunny Bundle. This wasn’t a set which was top of my list but I earnt it free with my credits from Sal-A-Bration and now I’ve used it I love it, that bunny is just so cute!

I chose to combine it with the Twinkle Twinkle DSP which has some lovely subtle patterns which I can see being very versatile. For these cards I chose the star print as wanted to make some birthday cards for younger children. I chose colour combinations of Petal Pink with Soft Seafoam and Night of Navy with Pool Party.

The bunny is sitting on one of the line stamps from Swirly Frames as I didn’t notice the little grass stamp in the Best Bunny set until I was gluing the bunny onto the card. Some of the Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins add a little shimmer to the card and match perfectly as the change colour as different light catches them.

So if you’re not sure about this set give it a go, it makes lovely cards and making us the little bunnies is so much fun.
