Simple Birthday Card With Beautiful Bouquet

Today I’m taking a break from the Christmas projects and sharing a simple birthday card with you. I’ve chosen to use Beautiful Bouquet as its one of my favourtie current floral stamp sets. Its a set which works well for building up floral bouquets with the matching dies but works equally well for creating simple backgrounds, which is what  I’ve done here.

I simply stamped the carnation type flower in three diffferent colurs randomly across my white cardstock area. the colours I chose were Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Rococo Rose and a hint of Pear Pizzazz.

To finishe the card I added a length of the Gorgeous Grape Mine Striped Ribbon and a greeting stamped on the Story Label Punch.

Tailored Tag Patchwork Background Christmas Card

I’ve wanted to make a card with a patchwork background created with the Tailored Tag punch ever since I bought which was, a long time ago. Finally I’ve pulled out the Christmastime Is Here Speciality DSP and created this christmas card.

I used 18 punch out tags in four different designs, but you can use any number of patterns you like, just try not to put the same patterns next to each other when you form your patchwork. I adhered these by using Liquid Glue on the card base.

I added a little swirl of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon to add some interest and then placed the large label from the Roses dies over the top with the greeting stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I finished with some of my favourite Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

The Christmastime Is Her suite is only available until the end of the month so if you still thinking about purchasing these products you only have a few days left, I’m just debating how many extra packets of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots I should order.

Dino Diecuts Card

The one thing I’ve always loved about Stampin’ Up! is the coordination between products. Most of the time this has been matching colours between cardstock and ink. Since the introduction of pruduct suite where we’ve had stamps, die sets ans even dsp that coordinated the project possibilities are endless and its actually hard to make a bad card.

Some of my favourite coordinating products from this years annual catalogue are products from the Dino Days suite, I love how the die set matches the stamps and even one of patterns on the dsp produces detailed die cut dinosaurs in seconds.

This means when you’ve realised your out of birthday cards for the kids party starting in an hour you dont need to rush to the shops. Just pull out a die cutting machine, the Dino dies and the Dinoroar paper and you can make this card in less than ten minutes. Meaning you’ll have one happy birthday boy and won’t be late to the party.

From Our House to Yours Christmas Card

Sometimes I just want to stamp a pretty picture without adding in punches, die cutting and lots of colouring and the From Our House to Yours is the perfect stamp set for scene building stamping.

For the background I did some very light sponging in Pool Party and the stamped the starry night sky with Pool Party ink.

To create the rest of the scene I used another nine ink colours which you can see in the supplies below. I love how this cute little scene has turned out. With the variety of sentiments in this sewt its also possible to make cards for all year round occassions making this a very versatile addition to your collection.

Christmas Rose Birthday Card Duo

Today I’m sharing these simple cards which have helped bump up my birthday card stash. They took just ten minutes to make each and you could make them in any colour.

Christmas Rose Blueberry Bushell Birthday Card

I chose to use Blueberrry Bushell and Lovely Lipstick for these cards but you could use any colour you like.

To add a little interest I’ve added a strip of the 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon to each card. The greeting comes from the Seaside Notions stamp set and is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
