Floral Friday: Christmas Rose Wedding Card

Today I’ve used the Christmas Rose stamp set to create a wedding card. I’ve gone far away from the colours in the Christmastime Is Here Suite and focused on colours from my own wedding.  I used Blackberry Bliss and Gold for my own wedding stationary, here I’ve added in Mint Macaron as a green for the foiliage.

I stamped the Chrsitmas Rose in Versamark and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I coloured the roses with both Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends and the leaves in a mix of Light Shaded Spruce and Dark Mint Macaron which gave them a two-tone effect which I really like.  I used a few drops of Golden Glitz Delicata Reinker and a Blender pens to colour in the berries on the image.

I added some interest to the Mint Macaron background layer by stamping the inner berry stamp in a random pattern all over with Versmark ink. I then added a strip of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon across the middle before adhering onto the Gold Foil layer.

I stamped the greeting from Beautiful Bouquet onto the large frame from the Roses die set and added this to the card. I then added my rose diecut over the top. I finished the card off with some of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots which I am loving and seem to be putting on every thing I make.

I’m loving all the products in the Christmastime Is Here Suite and actually how versatile they are as I don’t think this card looks Chrismassy at all do you?

Roses & Ribbon Christmas Card

Today I’m sharing another card made with the Christmastime Is Here Suite of products, this time focusing on the paper with the smaller roses. This is a lovely sheet of paper and I wasn’t sure cutting up was the best decision butI wanted those small and roses seperate and I do have three more sheets to use up.

The gold edging on the background comes from one of the dies in the Roses collection, I just added along each edge of my backing paper so there was a little detail which sepreated in from the card base.

For the main part of the card I stamped the Merry Christmas greeting from the Christmas Rose stamp set in Golden Glitz Delicata Ink onto a Stiched Nested Label. Before I adhered this to my card I added a length of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon underneath the label to add some more interest and lift it from the background paper.

I finished the card off by adding my fussy cut roses to two corners of the label and then added a few of the smallest Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

Purple Floral Essence Card

With this card I’m celebrating all things purple with a mix of Gorgoeus Grape, Highland Heather and Purple Posy. The main flower was stamped with Highland Heather and Purple Posy centres and a little pop of green with Granny Apple Green leaves.

I matted my stamped panel, which was a Stitched Rectangle onto a larger Stitched Rectangle. This was then adhered to a matt of 14.4cm x 10cm of Highland Heather. I then added a strip of the Gorgoeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon across the front before it was stuck onto a card base of Whisper White measuring 14.9cm x 10.5cm.

I finished the card off with a greeting stamped in Gorgeous Grape on a Stiched Square.

Pretty Peacock Leaf Bouquet Card

I love the Come to Gather Suite of products as soon as I saw them its definitely my favourite Autumn themed suite for many years, mainly because the papers include Pretty Peacock. I think this is a bold choice for an autumnal themed collection but it really works with the Cajun Crze, Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron.

I knew as soon as I got these product home I’d create a card which featured Pretty Peacock Foil die cut leaves and these turned out even more gorgeous than I expected. To create some more interest I cut some more leaves in Pretty Peacock cardstock. A little tip I’ve picked up from other demonstrators if you spray the card before you die cut the leaves you will get a two-tone effect, no idea why this work but Ilove them.

For some additional texture to my leafy arrangement I added some of the foiliage from the Frosted Frames dies in Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake. These are all secrured using glue dots as I didn’t want to move my leaves after I’d got the arrangement how I like.

The “Wishing You Well” greeting makes this card suitable for many occasions or to simply just send to someone to say “Hi” which is exactly what I’m going to do as this week is World Card Sending week. Why don’t you join in and send some random cards yourself.
