Comfort & Hope Card

Today I’m sharing a card made with the Comfort & Hope stamp set, this is a great stamp set for adding little touches on cards as the images are all different textures and elements.  My favourite stamp has to be the loops, I was a big fan of the Metallic Thread we used to carry but could never get my loops to look right, now I can just add this stamp onto the card.

Comfort & Hope Close Up

To add some three dimensional texture I added one of the leaf flourishes from the Forever Flourishing Dies. I cut the leaves out of the Soft Sea Foam Velveteen paper, word of warning this stuff attracts dust like crazy some keep it wrapped up! To highlight the texture on the leaves I added a touch of Just Jade ink using a sponge duaber.

To finish the card I added the greeting Comfort and Hope stamped on a label of Mint Macaron cut from the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.

Thanks for popping by.

Ornate Blooms with Stampin’ Blends

This card features one of my most longed for products a Stampin’ Blends marker in Melon Mambo. There have been so many times I’ve reached for this colour only to be dissappointed we don’t have it, so yay Stampin’ Up! I’m one happy girl.

I’ve pulled out the Ornate Style stamp set to colour that gorgeous floral arrangement. I used Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, So Saffron, Seaside Spray and the new markers in Just Jade which are lovely too.

The background paper comes from the new In Colour 2020-2022 and is in Just Jade. I added the greeting from the Butterfly Gala stamp set on a punched label from the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch on the 3/4″ width.

To finish the card I added three Mango Melody sequins from the Artistry Blooms Sequins Collection, I love that these are self adhesive so you can just stick and go.

Floral Friday – Paper Scrap Cards

Today I’m sharing four cards which have all been made from one sheet of 6 x 6 designer paper. I used the retiring Best Dressed paper as I love the floral patterns and I chose four colours from this paper as my card bases.

Floral Scraps - Petal Pink

These were Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Petal Pink.

Floral Scraps Card - Daffodil Delight

I used the Dandelion Wishes stamp set for the sentiments, stamped on a circle from the Layering Circles Dies.

Floral Scraps Card - Blackberry Bliss

I just cut the 6 x 6 paper into various strips and arranged them with the sentiments on top.

I think the Blackberry Bliss version is my favourite, which is yours ?

#Simple Stamping – Beautiful Friendship Card

I love Peonies, they are one of my favourite flowers and this year after waiting four years mine in my garden finally bloomed and wow was it a beauty. So today’s card was inspired by my garden flowers of  pink peonies and  lilac buddleia.

Simple Stamping Beautiful Friendship -flat

I’ve used the Beautiful Friendship which is full of gorgeous floral images which all work well together so grab your inkpads and have a play. For this card I used Rococo Rose, Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather on a card base of Balmy Blue and I love the result.

Hopefully I wont have to wait for four more years for some peony blossoms!

Sending Healing Hugs Card

Healing Hugs are something I think we’re all desperate for right now, so why not send a card one to those you care about. I’ve paired this sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set with products from the Tropical Oasis Suite and the new Ornate Garden Suite.

Sending Healing Hugs Card - flat

I used the Mini Blossom punch from the Sale-A-Bration Rewards for the flowers, this will be available again in the new catalogue on June 3rd.
