Today I’m back with another card using the Hug in a Mug stamp set making a very girly pastel card using Powder Pink, Sweet Sugarplum, and Pool Party, if we still had Mint Macaron then I would have used that too!
First take a piece of Powder Pink cardstock measuring 14.5cm x 21cm and fold and score at 10.5cm to create a card base. Take the Powder Pink ink and randomly stamp the small twinkling star all over the front of the card base.
Next I cut a piece of Shimmery White cardstock to 8cm x 10cm, onto this I stamped the cup outlines and extras in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. You can also use the black archival ink but you would probably need to let each row of cups dry so it didn’t smudge. Fill the various cups in with Pool Party, Powder Pink and Sweet Sugarplum. Add the details to the cups using Island Indigo, Sweet Sugarplum and Tuxedo Black Memento. I then finished off the image by colouring in the extra items with Crumb Cake, Smokey Slate, So Saffron and Blushing Bride markers.
Take some Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and cut a matt layer for the stamping measuring 8.5cm x 10.5cm. Adhere the stamped image to the front of the layer. Cut one of the smallest silver metallic doilies in half and use Fast Fuse to stick onto the back of the Sweet Sugarplum as shown, then stick onto the middle of the card base.
Take the Coffee Café stamp set and stamp the “Thanks a Latte” greeting in Pool Party and then die cut with the Coffee Cup Framelits, add this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensional’s as a finishing touch.
For the inside of this card I took a piece of Whisper white cardstock measuring 10cm x 14cm and stamp the twinkle star along the bottom in Powder Pink and then adhere to the inside of the card.
Happy Crafting
