#Simple Stamping – Beautiful Friendship Card

I love Peonies, they are one of my favourite flowers and this year after waiting four years mine in my garden finally bloomed and wow was it a beauty. So today’s card was inspired by my garden flowers of  pink peonies and  lilac buddleia.

Simple Stamping Beautiful Friendship -flat

I’ve used the Beautiful Friendship which is full of gorgeous floral images which all work well together so grab your inkpads and have a play. For this card I used Rococo Rose, Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather on a card base of Balmy Blue and I love the result.

Hopefully I wont have to wait for four more years for some peony blossoms!

#Simple Stamping – Label Me Bold

Keeping it simple today with the Label Me Bold stamp set. This one is full of abstract images which are perfect for creating all kinds of patterns, you can’t really go wrong. This kind of stamping with shapes is something I find very relaxing which is good as its been a stressful day!

Simple Stamping Label Me Bold - Pink

This first card features Rococo Rose and Petal Pink. For the greeting I stamped Happy Birthday three times on scrap paper in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut these out with a small white border and adhered them to the card with the Foam Adhesive Strips.

Simple Stamping Label Me Bold - Blue

The second card uses Bermuda Bay and Pool Party for the background colours. For a little bling I added some Champagne Rhinestones to the pink card and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured in Dark Pool Party Blends among the greetings.

Simple Stamping: Power of Hope

As soon as I saw images in the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Power of Hope I was reminded of my childhood and her Willow Tree China. I was a very fussy eater and would only eat cheese sandwiches shaped as giraffes off the special blue plates at her house, bless her she made them for me every visit! So this one’s for you Grandma, thank you for indulging my childhood whims.

This is a very simple card using just Whisper White Thick cardstock as a base and Night of Navy cardstock and ink to create the image.

Simple Stamping - Power of Hope flat

I used a Blender Pen to pull some of the ink off the outline of the chinese lady to give her dress a very slight blue colouring. The little bush in the corner was created with the top of the tree image. I stamped it once and it turned out not so good, so I just overstamped with the leftover ink on my stamp a few times to fill it in and I actually like how this turned out.

Are there any stamp sets which bring back happy childhood memories for you? I’d love to know all about them.

Simple Stamping: So Many Stars

I love the versatility of the So Many Sras stamp set it perfect for Chrsitmas of course but pair it with birthday sentiment and you have so many more options. Today I’m keeping it really simple with two inks and two stamp set, well technically I’m only using one stamp from Perennial Birthday.

I chose a colour combination of Merry Merlot and Copper, mostly so I could use the Celestial Copper Delicata Ink.

Simple Stamping_ So Many stars 2

I’ve added one of the Star Designer Elements to each card as these are the perfect embellishments for these cards.

I think this last card is my favourite, which is yours? You can’t beat a bit of simple stamping, especially on a Sunday.

Simple Stamping – Butterfly Gala and Touches of Textures

Today I’m sharing a quick and simple card made using the Butterfly Gala Bundle which is back in stock, so grab it now. For the background I’ve added in a stamp from Touches of Textures, I’m sad this is leaving as its sucj a versatile set for adding a little something to a card.

I added three different splats for the background using So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron.

I stamped three matching butterflies on seperate cardstock and then punched them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. I stamped some antenna for the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then added the greeting to bottom of the card.

To finish the card I attache the butterflies with Stampin’ Dimensionals so the card has some dimension.

I love how this crad turned out, so simple but so beautiful too.
