Christmas Stocking Card

This is another one of those cards that is  quick and simple to put together, so perfect for mass production if you’re running out of time to make your cards.

I’ve used one of the sheets from the Night Before Christmas as a background and also as a basis for my colour scheme. I chose to use Cherry Cobbler, Pretty Peacock and So Saffron with a hint of Mossy Meadow.

A strip of the Pretty Peacock/Old Olive Reversable Ribbon adds a little shimmer to the card and the “Merry Christmas” greeting stamped in Mossy Meadow from the Snowman Season stamp set finishes off the card.

Let It Snow-Man Card

I’m sharing another card made with the Let It Snow Suite today, a suite of products which make it easy to make lovely cards. Today I’ve added in some extra glitter with the Real Red Glimmer paper and some of the Real Red Glitter Enamel Dots from the Toile Tidings collections.

I love these snowmen from the Snowman Season stamp set and don’t think much adding, just a little Pumpkin Pie to colour in his nose.

Merry Christmoose Card

Have you managed to pick up the Merry Moose bundle yet? Its low stock so many of you must love him as much as I do. I thought I’d give him another outing before he sells out and add in the cute little raccon for company.

I’ve used the Buffalo Check stamp as my background, stamping Cherry Cobbler ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock to give the card a Nordic vibe.

I used some of the Satin Edge Ribbon in Crumb Cake from the Come to Gather suite across the middle of the card. Of course no card would be complete without a greeting and what better one than Merry Christmoose!!

Frosty Penguin Card

How cosy does this cute little fellow look all wrapped up in his scarf, he won’t be bothered by his frosty surroundings created from the Feels Like Frost Specilaity DSP.  I added a little extra frostiness to the card by using a few drops of the Shimmery Crystal Effects.

The penguin comes from the Playful Penguins stamp set and after I fussy cut him out I added a little Mango Melody to his feet and and beak. His cosy scarf is stamped in Highland Heather.

The greeting also stamped in Highland Heather comes from the stamp set Greatest Part of Christmas, which is a hostess set from the Autmn/Winter catalogue and only available with Stampin’ Rewards gained from and order over £150.00.

Shimmery Silver Snowflake Card

This card is the result of a crafty session where I just wanted to make so backgrounds with my stamping stash. For the base I used Shimmery White Cardstock as this is my favourite to use when doing ink blending.  I chose Seaside Spray and Blushing Bride for my background as  I was going for a subtle look, possibly Balmy Blue would have been better for a subtle look. I like the almost stormy look which Seaside Spray has given to the card.

Shimmery Silver Snowflake Card - flat

For some more shimmer to the background I used the snowflake stamp from Free Skate and stamped it all over my background in Silvery Shimmer Delicata Ink, now when you move the card in the light you get the shimmer from the snowflakes.

To finish my card I added a length of Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon across the middle of the card to add even more silver shimmer and then stamped the “Christmas Greetings” stamp from  Greatest Part of Christmas in Silvery Shimmer Delicata Ink onto some oval matts cut from the Layering Oval Dies.

As a final touch I added some silver foil snowflakes cut from the Christmas Layers dies for a last bit of silver. I love how this card turned out, it reminds me of the sparkle left on freshly fallen snow.
