Simple Thank You Car with the Share What You Love Suite

I’m loving playing with the Share What You Love Suite of products which is currently available as three bundles. This card features products from the biggest bundle the Gotta Have It All Bundle which includes my newest favourite paper pack the Share What You Love Speciality Paper. Here’s a look at my card:

The beautiful paper doesn’t need much adding to it to make a great card so I just stamped a simple panel with the largest floral stamp from the Love What You Do stamp set in Rich Razzleberry. I added a little texture to the card with the new Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon which is so soft to touch.

Magical Day Mermaid Birthday Card

Today I’m featuring the Magical Day stamp set out of the Spring/Summer catalogue, I love this set and was really hoping this would not be retiring, sadly it is so if you haven’t yet added it to your collection I highly recommend it.

I chose the little mermaid stamp as my focus as I wanted to use the bubble paper from the Myths and Magic Speciality DSP and the Glitter Epoxy Shapes. Here’s my card:

And here’s a close up of the mermaid:

And on the inside I added the cute little seahorse as a finishing touch:

Fresh Florals Popcorn Daisy Box

Fresh Florals was one of those packs of paper I bought last year in the demonstrator pre-order period and haven’t used to its fully potential which is a shame as its beautiful paper. For today’s project I’ve teamed it up with the Popcorn Box Thinlits and the Daisy Punch to create a cute little box which would make a lovely wedding favour.

To embellish the front of the box  I punched three daisies out of vellum and sponged them with powder pink ink before gluing together. I added a large faceted clear gem to the centre. I went round this gem with the powder pink Stampin’ Marker to added some more definition. To another bit of texture I added some loops of Silver Metallic Thread and secured behind the daisy.

I love how this turned out and think it’s looking very cute sat on my desk, unforntunatly my daughter also likes it so I’m not sure how long it will last.

Congratulations Card with Born to be Loved

Today’s card is showcasing three products which are retiring, two of which are low in stock so if you want them don’t wait. These products are the Born to be Loved stamp set, the Bundle of Joy Speciality DSP and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits which I’m surprised are retiring as I consider them a crafting staple.

Anyway here’s the card I came up, a very simple design which highlights these beautiful products.

I love the mix and Gold and Very Vanilla and think this card could work for many occasions including Weddings, Anniversaries, Engagements and new baby cards.

The heart stamp in the catalogue had the sentiment “Born to be Loved” on it which I didn’t want to use so I simply covered it up with some short strips of washi tape. I then inked the whole image with Versamark ink and then removed the washi carefully before stamping, leaving just the gorgeous border to be embossed.

I also embossed the “Congratulations” in gold to match the rest of the colour scheme, this greeting came from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set, which I’m so pleased is staying around for the next catalogue as its one of my favourites.
