Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card for #TGIF342

This week im joining in with #TGIF342 sketch challenge on TGIF Challenges this week its a sketch challenge:

So here’s my card using the Poinsettia Petals stamps set, Poinsettia dies and Seasonal Labels Dies:

I’ve embossed the Poinsettia flowers with gold on Cherry Cobbler cardstock and the leaves in gold on Evening Evergreen. I stamped the greeting on a label from the Seasonal Labels dies.

I used some paper from the Ever Eden Speciality DSP as the background to match my greeting and leaves.

As soon finishing touches I added some loops of gold Simply Elegant Trim and some Gilded Gems.

Tuesday Inspiration: Eden’s Garden

Today I’m sharing with you some samples of projects from the Eden Garden Collection made by Stampin’ Up! I hope you’ll find some inspiration and spark some creativity to create your own projects with these products.

These first two samples use products from the collection to make two gorgeous cards, I love the layering on the card on the left.

This card uses the Merry & Bright from one of the baubles in the Delicate Dies set, showing you these products will easily work for Christmas projects too. The addition of a few Garden Gems also adds some festive bling.

These two are showing how you can create some gorgeous tags, this is something I never think of doing but I love the bauble tag and might have to make some of my own.

These two ideas show how to decorate our boxes for some extra special gifts. the box on the left is the Kraft Gift Box from page 11 of the July- December Mini Catalogue and the square box on the right is the Scalloped Kraft Treat box and can be found in the Annual Catalogue on page 137.

This sample shows a little home decor project. I love this wreath and wonder how many diecuts it took to layer up and put it togther.

Three Car Thursday: Blackberry Beauty

Blackberry Bliss is my very favourite Stampin’ Up! colour so when I saw the Blackberry Beauty Suite I knew I had to purchase it all. It has been very hard for me to actually cut thepapers from the Blackberry Beauty DSP up and craft with them as they are so gorgeous. I have braved it and cut them up and here are three cards from my intial play with this suite, showcasing my three favourite paper designs.

This first card features my favourite design in the paper pack, the gold foiling on this is just so shiny. I’ve paired this with the laarge quote from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set stamped onto a matt from the Scalloped Contours Dies from the Annual Catalogue. I’ve finished the card off with the die cut owl from the Ephemera Pack, I’m a little sad that he didn’t come as a stamped image as I think he’s beautiful.

The main focal point for this card is again the designer paper and here I’ve simply added a gold foiled die cut from the ephemra pack and a little greetings label.

This final card also uses the Scalloped Contour dies as a matt for my stamping. I’ve also added two stamped and die cut birds to this card to compliment the paper. The ribbon on this card is actually the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon which I’ve coloured with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends.
