Shades of Blue Classic Car Card

It’s been a long time since this set has seen some ink but I’ve pulled out Geared Up Garage and I like the end result of this card. I’ve used Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Seaside Spray they all blend well together.

I’ve cut the car out with the matching die from the Garage Gears Dies, coloured it in Misty Moonlight for a focal point for the card.

To finish the card I’ve stamped the greeting on Night of Navy on a die cut from the So Sentimental die collection.

A simple card perfect for any car enthausiast!

Red Blossoms in Bloom Card

Today I’m sharing a simple card made with the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set. I’ve used a colour scheme of Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee. I stamped one of the small flowers on the Real Red cardstock base to give a tone on tone background on the card.

For the focus point on the card I stamped the large floral image on one of the second largest Stitched Rectangles.

I added extra layers using a Granny Apple Green Rectangle cut from the current Brights collection dsp and a Real Red layer cut from the Regals designer from the upcoming catalogue.

To finish off the card I added a greeting stamped on the smallest rectangle die.

Pootler’s Team New Catalogue Blog Hop

It’s time for another Pootlers Team Blog Hop and this time were sharing our favourite products from the new January to June Mini Catalogue. To follow on with the hop, just click the blue button at the bottom of this post.

My favourite stamp set is the Pretty Perennials which was inspired by ideas from Million Dollar Achiever Dena Rekow. I love the mix of flower elements and simple happy sentiments. There is also a fabulous die set that matches this set but for today’s post just sharing some cards with simple stamping.

Simple Pretty Prennials card 1

I’ve made three cards all using the colours Magenta Madness, Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green with the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Simple Pretty Prennials Card 2

This stamp set is perfect for beginner stampers as just a couple of inks and you have a gorgeous card and if you have more experience its simple to take it a step further.

Simple Pretty Prennials Card 3

I really wanted to add some of the Magenta Madness Enamel Dots to the centers of the small pink flowers but sadly they didn’t arrive in time, I think they would have just added that extra pop!

blog hop trio

Here’s all three together, which is your favourite? Mine’s the one with just flowers in Magenta Madness.
