All Adorned Card

Today I’m sharing with you a quick card I made with the free Sale-A-Bration stamp set All Adorned. I love the simplicity of this stamp set, its perfect to work with when you just want to stamp and make pretty patterns, if like me you need this one in your collection then place a £45.00 order before the end of the month and its yours for free.

I picked a colour scheme of Soft Seafoam and Merry Merlot to work with today as these are my favourite colours from this catalogue’s colour refresh and I love how good they look together, this is the perfect combination for a male or female card and its one all definitely be using again soon.

All Adorned Card - Flat

I stamped the Soft Seafoam images first randomly all over my cardstock and then overstamped with the smaller medallion type stamp. These two stamps match up perfectly to create a lovely two-toned pattern. Simply line up the four outer dots on the smaller stamp with the circles on the larger stamp and hey presto, gorgeous background.

To help my sentiment stand out I used the Everyday Label punch and the starburst punch to create a couple of layers.

Hope you’ve enjoyed today’s quick and simple project.

St. Patrick’s Day Card Duo

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, hope you all have a lucky day! I’m passing on the good luck by sharing this card duo I made with the Amazing Life stamp set and the brand new Sale-A-Bration Co-ordination Storybook Punch….gosh thats a mouthful!

Celebrating all things Irish i’m using a mix of Call Me Clover and Granny Apple Green for colouring the shamrocks from the Amazing Life stamp set. I used the Stampin’ Blends for the colouring which did take me a whole evening but it was a very relaxing one.

St Patricks Day card 1

For this first card I covered my whole background in the stamped and coloured shamrocks. I used the Good Luck greeting from Amazing Life and stamped it in Call Me Clover. I punched the greeting out with the Storybook punch and then punched out an additional shape in Call Me Clover cardstock, cut in half this makes the perfect border to lift the greeting punch. To finish this card I added three of the enamel dots from the Happiness Blooms collection.

St Patrick's Day card 2

For the second card I added a strip of the Call Me Clover polka dot paper from the 2018 – 2020 In-Colour DSP stack to the bottom of the card and seperated this from my stamping with a strip of Granny Apple Green cardstock.

Hope you’ve enjoyed todays projects and join me again tomorrow for some more Stampin’ Up! inspiration.

Tiny Treat Box Sweet Wrap

Surprisingly today I don’t have a card project to share with you, instead I’m sharing a simple way to decorate one of our Clear Tiny Treat boxes. With sixteen in a pack these  little boxes would make the cutest party favours. As their food safe you can fill them with any treats you like, obviously mine has been filled with jelly babies to match the paper.

To create the wrap you will need a piece of DSP measuring 2″ x 11″. Turn the paper so the side you want on the outside in face down on the Simply Scored tool. Score lines at 1″, 2″, 4″, 6″, 8″, 9″ and 10″.

Take the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and punch each end of the DSP. Fold along all score lines and then wrap around your Tiny Treat Box. Thread some Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon through the top of the wrap to secure it to the box. The wrap is secure enough to stay on, but easy enough to slide off when your ready to eat your treats.

To decorate the wrap I added a label stamped from the Sweetest Thing stamp set and die-cut from the Jar of Sweets Framelits and then fastened onto the wrap with the Old Olive Linen Thread.

Hope you like this cute little idea, I’ll be back tomorrow with another card idea for you.

Pop of Petals Floral Trio Birthday Card

Can you believe I’ve had the Pop of Petals stamp set and matching Four-Petal Flower Punch and they’ve not been used, shocking right? So today’s the day I inked it up and created the simple but stunning birthday card.

Three stamped and punched flowers in Berry Burst and a little foliage stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and you have the main part of the card.

Next simply add your chosen greeting to the centre of the stamping, my sentiment came from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, then you have an almost complete card.

To finish the card I added a large Gold Facet Gem to the centre of each flower, aren’t they just the perfect fit?

Layered Vellum Card with Butterfly Gala

After I created my trio of cards for the Pootler’s team Spring/Summer blog hop I had this background piece made from the Crackle Paint stamp set in Gorgeous Grape so I decided to create another butterfly card.

I added a layer of vellum to the front of my Gorgeous Grape layer as it was a little over powering in such a bright colour and my butterflies were lost.

I used the Stitched scallop boarder die from the be Mine Stitched Framelits to create a banner across the card for my sentiment.

The three punched butterflies created from the two-step stamps in Butterfly Gala finish the card off and add even more dimension with their wings.
