A Big Thank You Trio

I’m re-visting my favourite suite in the catalogue today the Share What You Love Suite and I do love it all. I’m pairing it with the A Big Thank You stamp set which has some lovely greetings which I think work really well with the gorgeous paper and embellishments in the Share What You Love Suite.

I’m sharing just three cards today but I have a couple more which I’ll share later in the month.  So here’s the first one:

A Big Thank You Trio - card 1

Along with this gorgeous floral paper I added some of the Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, some of the Artisan Pearls and the frame on which I stamped the greeting comes from the Share What You Embellishment kit which features die-cut frames, twine, mini paper-clips and some gorgeous silver flower embellishments which you’ll see on the last card.

A Big Thank You tRio - card 2

For this second card I fussy card some of the large flowers from one of the other sheets of paper. It doesn’t show too well on the photograph but these flowers are pearlescent so look stunning in real life and I also added a few loops of the Tranquil tide bakers twne from the embellishment kit because….well why not!

A Big thank You - card 3

The third card uses another of the die-cut frames and those gorgeous silver roses to add a finishing touch. All these cards were very quick and easy to make and I think they all look stunning.

Floral Friday: Bloom by Bloom

So I’m back with another Floral Friday post and today I’m featuring the Bloom by Bloom stamp set. This is one of those stamp sets where you can just grab a few different inks and really have fun creating patterns and arrangements. For today’s cards I really embraced our bright and cheery colours and chose Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch and Granny Apple Green, the perfect spring combination.

Bloom by Bloom card 1

For this first card I didn’t quite get the flower centres lined up properly but it still turned out to be my favourite card of the four. I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set for the greeting and the Everyday Label and Classic Label punches to create my little focal point.

Bloom by Bloom card 2

For this card I added a little strip of the Granny Apple Green polka dot paper from the Brights DSP stack. I decided to leave this one without a greeting as I think the flowers are enough on their own, plus it would be the perfect card to send to someone to cheer them up.

Bloom by Bloom card3

Again this one has some of the Brights DSP and I left it without a greeting,

Bloom by Bloom card4

The final one, which is probably the busiest looking one as the greeting and extra paper but was still quick and easy to put together.

I really love this stamp set and if you’re a floral fan like me its definitely one to add to your collection.

Painted Seasons Birthday Card

I wanted to share with you another card I’ve made with the Painted Seasons stamp set and matching framelits as this sets will no longer be available after Sunday as March 31st signals the end of this year’s Sale-A-Bration

I chose to use Gorgeous Grape as despite being a purple I haven’t really warmed to this colour yet, I think its because its more on the blue blue side of purple. It’s quite a bright colour when you see a full sheet of cardstock so I’ve toned it done by adding a vellum layer. The fancy edge at the bottom is cut using the Delicate Lace Egelits Dies which I think really adds a wow to this card.

The greeting comes from the More Than Word stamp set which has sentiments to co-ordinate with many of our Sale-A-Bration sets, this will also be gone after Sunday ao grab it while you can as it has a lovely mix of fonts. I stamped the greeting on a frame from the Stitched Label Framelits as I thought the edge work well with the lacy die.

Painted Seasons Birthday Card 1

To finish the card I added some leaves and one of those gorgeous flowers from the Painted Leaves stamp set, every time I stamp this flower I’m amazed by how much detail there is in just one stamp, its stunning!!

Country Floral Birthday Card

With the Annual Catalogue entering its last few weeks its time to start saying goodbye to some products, while the offical retiring list won’t be released just yet we know we’ll be saying goodbye to the 2017-2019 In-Colours. This makes me very sad this year as this collection has been my very favourite In-Colour collection so fingers crossed Stampin’ Up! are bringing us an even better collection to replace them.

My three favourites of this collection were Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink so today’s card features all three  and highlights how well they work together.

Country Floral Birthday Card 1

For the background of the card I used the Coutnry Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder with Whisper White,  I cut this into three panels measuring 4cm x 9cm and mounted these onto panels of TRaquil Tide measuring 4.5cm x 9.5cm.  The happy birthday greeting comes from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and I added a flower and leaves from the Painted Seasons Sale-A-Bration set and cut them out with the co-ordinating Four seasons Framlits.

Which of the 2011-2019 In-Colours are you going to miss the most and what are you hoping to see in the new collection, I’d love to know?

Get Well Soon Card with Healing Hugs

I’m sharing a get well card today which is something I don’t make enough of. For this card I’ve pulled out the Healing Hugs stamp set because I love that beautiful rose image and the best thing is you can get all that detail with just one impression.

Taking inspiration from the Tea Room Speciality paper I chose a colour scheme of Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry with just a hint of Pear Pizzazz. You wouldn’t expect these two colours to work but I love them together.

Caypso Coral Get Well Card -flat

The Rich Razzleberry background layer is the lattice die from the Rose Trellis Framelits. I love this die and if you do too I suggest you order it very soon as when our current supply of this Framelit set have run out it won’t be replaced.
