Whiskey Business is the perect stamp set to make cards for my husband as he loves his Whiskey and has quite a collection.
The whiskey decanter and glass on this card have both been made shiny by using the Shimmery Crystal Effects, its ages since I used this but I love the little glittery flecks its left which really do look like glass.
After stampin both images with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink I coloured the whiskey parts with a mixture of Light Pumpkin Pie and Light Cinnamon Cider Blends to make the rich whiskey colour. I then spread a thin layer of Shimmery crytal effects over the liquid parts and left to dry. I left mine overnight but an hour should be fine.
The backround designer paper comes from the Bloom Where You’re Planted collection and adds to the masculine feel of the card. I used one of the paint strips from the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies as a base for my Whiskey to sit on.
As a final touch I added my sentiment to the top and bottom of the card with Early Espresso Ink.
Hope my husband likes this card which my son will be giving him on Sunday.
