Today I’m sharing a sympathy card which is one of those projects I’m not keen on making as it usually means someone I love is hurting. This card was very much inspired by the samples in the Spring/Summer catalogue on page 47, as you can see I’ve used elements from all three cards to create my own version.
I’ve stuck to using just Balmy Blue with just a hint of Pear Pizzazz, by using the cardstock, ink and Stampin’ Marker you can have three variations of the same colour which match perfectly creating a gorgeous card.
To attach the doily frame I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets which I think are a must when using delicate die-cuts like this frame. I added a little bow of Linen Thread just to add a little rustic touch.
I’m gutted this set isn’t carrying over into the new catalogue as its one of my favourites from the Spring/Summer catlogue, the possibilities with it are endless. If you’re in Europe I suggest you grab it while you can.
