Monochromatic Floral card with Blended Seasons

I’m going all modern and monochromatic for today’s card and simply using black and white. I’m loving how versatile the Blended Seasons bundle is, the combinations really do seem to be endless.

This time I simply stamped the large floral image on black cardstock and embossed in white, a technique which looks stunning no matter what image you use. Just remember to use your embossing buddy so you don’t end up with little white powder flecks everywhere.

Using the Stamparatus I was able to perfectly line up the greeting in my frame die cut from the Stitched Labels Framelits. The black 1/8″ cord trim works well to “fasten” the frame to my card. The background paper if from the Tropical Chic 6×6 DSP Stack which has a few black and white pattern options in it, if you don’t have this you could easily make your own or use the Petal Passion DSP from the Spring/Summer catalogue if you have any left. A few faceted black gems and the card is finished.
