Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend, with just six weeks to go before Christmas I thought it was time we had a card featuring the special man himself. So today’s card is made from the Santa’s Suit stamp set and Santa Builder Framelits which I had loads of fun playing with last week.
To create this card I first created loads of coloured die cuts using the various suit elements from the stamp set. All are stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then coloured in with the lovely new Stampin’ Blends. I had hours of fun colouring all the elements and can highly recommend some die cut colouring if you want to craft but don’t know what to make.
I kept the card fairly simple using the die cut elements as the focus. For the background I cut some of the Old Olive paper from the Merry Little Christmas DSP. This is great paper pack which I can see being useful all year round, I used my favourite pattern in the Old Olive side these dotted diagonal lines.
For a greeting I die cut the largest Stitched Shape Oval in Whisper White and stamped the greeting from Merry Mistletoe in Cherry Cobbler. I positioned my Santa on the card so he looks as if he is holding the oval up. For the extra elements I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler to the right-hand side to attach them to.
I love how cute this card is and hope you all like it too.
