Monday Mix-Up with It’s My Party Designer Series Paper

Today I’m going to start a series where I take a certain focus product and create two cards with different looks. I’m focusing this week on the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper as this is on the retiring list and I have a lot to use up. I also decided to have a play with my circle punches. Here’s the first card I came up with:

mambocircles

As you can see this is a very feminine card featuring Melon Mambo as the main colour. I used the enamel dots from the It’s My Party Suite as accents and I love them, wish we had them in every colour as I would buy them all! I wanted to see if I could create a more masculine version focusing more on the Crushed Curry and Sahara Sand colours. Here is my second card:

I really like how this turned out and will find both cards useful for upcoming birthdays for my son’s classmates. Here is both cards together:

This simple design could be done using any designer paper which you have available. At the time of posting this all products were still available to order so if you like them, grab them while you’ve still got chance. What do you think? Which do you prefer I’d love to know?
